In this image the President of the US, Abe Lincoln, is fighting the Confederate president, Jeff Davis. The match is clearly unfair because Lincoln's weapon is much bigger than Davis'. The weapons symbolize the treasuries of the two countries and it shows how the Union having the US treasury at their disposal was a huge advantage in their victory over the Confederacy.
This image shows a location for Southerners to voluntarily enlist to fight for the Confederacy, in a very satiric way. As shown by the dull look of the place Southern morale to fight in the war was very low and so was voluntary enlistment. You can see that one man is even being forced to enter the room and enlist by gunpoint. This lack of voluntary enlistment led to an even lower number of soldiers to fight the much larger Union force.
